Holmusk is proud to be part of the Innovation Showcase at Asia Pacific Medtech Forum 2016. This forum is a way to share and access new innovations and create new partnerships in health care. We were there to present GlycoLeap, our flagship product for people living with type 2 diabetes.

Presentation- Asia Pacific Medtech Forum

As part of the showcase, CEO and Founder, Mr Nawal Roy, addressed the growing size of the diabetes population in Singapore. He shared insights from current user stories on how GlycoLeap nudged people with type 2 diabetes towards sustainable changes for better health. His inspiring talk drew in the crowds and generated a lot of interest toward Holmusk’s showcase stand.

Showcase- Asia Pacific Medtech Forum

Showcasing GlycoLeap was an exciting opportunity to spread the word about the coaching program. People from all over the world, working in all different areas of health and technology gathered at this event. From interns to lecturers, MOH to media personnel, to healthcare professionals- all were interested to know more about GlycoLeap. Some people even signed up for themselves or on behalf of their family members!

Exciting new startups

The innovation showcase gave Holmusk the opportunity to see what else is happening in healthcare startups locally. Some new exciting products included a smart infusion system, for the delivery of pain relief medication during childbirth, and a new app which helps people track and identify triggers for migraines. In addition, there were talks and showcases for larger companies such as BD and Medtronic too.

All in all, it’s an exciting and valuable opportunity for Holmusk to share the news about GlycoLeap- A smart coach for people with type 2 diabetes.
